![]() If the controller consists of an Arduino Megga 2560 and a seperate motor shield (board with heatsinks) than it’s the other kit style. If it’s self contained in a single enclosure than it’s probably an Arduino DUE and therfore probably an M2. Take a look at the controller from your kit. A kit version using the Arduino Megga 2560 controller (similar to the original Maslow kit) and a kit version using the Arduino DUE controller (a version developed by Maker Made as part of the M2 kit). Maker Made sells two different versions of Maslow. There are multiple versions of Maslow kits that are available from a few different vendors. It’s helpful to know which version of kit you have because it determines what firmware and from what source you need to load on the controller and to a degree, what control software will work with your controller. Let’s start by trying to get some terminology and technology squared away. And Makerverse won’t even connect to it at all. But doesn’t stay connected to Ground Control. I went through the steps to upload the Mega2560 to the board. I’m also not sure I understand all the lingo of firmware. Now none of our computers will allow Ground Control to stay connected. I’m a bit confused there because when I used my mother-in-law’s computer earlier it was working just fine and I was going through the calibration steps. However, NOW my problem is that the ground control will not stay connected to the Audrino board. This one I am on now will open and run Ground Control. It would not open due to OpenGL needing to be 2.0 and the computer only had 1.0. I then tried to open it on a Samsung laptop that I purchased brand new yesterday. ![]() It says the program needs to be updated and to contact the developer. I’ve been discounted so many times I lost track of it and they’d even made freeware their discontinued products, actual freeware not pretend-, ad-riden-, mailbox-spammy-, data-gathery-freeware.I tried opening Ground Control on Mac. On the other hand Rogue Amoeba applies automatic discounts when you upgrade and your old app is still usable. I read the license agreement where it’s not very clear but it seems they would update a version you’ve paid for reverting it back to demo because, the license isn’t good for “other versions” which will overwrite the one you purchased, if the deceitful website wasn’t a red flag this should be. It’s not functional without an Internet connection, either - I tried it in a VM. ![]() It’s as falsely implying it’s free but it doesn’t actually say, it’s written by either layers or somebody attempting deceit long enough to put the software in your system where even if it’s not malware (IDK) it now requires a different download to uninstall it and might as well pay for it already, like ransomware. I saw a huge red flag as soon as the website loaded in the way things are phrased. Visit The REAPER Blog for many more tips, tricks and tutorials.īeing able to use an app without any immediate apparent consequences doesn’t make it free. Join this channel to get access to perks: Since this video published there are two additional Ground Control products offering many more features. *The free version “Cube” is linked at the bottom of the download page.* In the video I also compare it to Loopback 2, which is more fully featured, but costs $99. It’s similar to the discontinued SoundFlower, in most use cases, but with the ability to monitor as a bonus. ![]() Ground Control is a free virtual audio cable app for Mac that allows you to route audio from one app to another, and comes with a monitor control interface.
